Northern Sales Executive

TAM International currently operates directly in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore and indirectly through our distributors in Europe, Middle East and China. Due to continued success and growth we are seeking a Northern Sales Executive to join the team and meet company targets for retention, growth and profitability.

In return you will join a truly international group with a competitive package including a salary of circa £30,000 p.a. plus car or car allowance and a sales performance incentive scheme.

Your Role

  • Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims and managing personal time and productivity.
  • Manage product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  • Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

Your Profile

  • Civil Engineering background/ qualifications.
  • Sales experience within the construction and building industry.
  • Knowledge of polyurethanes, epoxy and acrylic chemistry, and cement based products would be an asset.
  • Exceptional organisation skills – thorough attention to detail
  • Highly motivated
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • High flexibility and mobility – prepared to travel.
