TAM’s experience in UK Civil Engineering covers a diversity of major public / private infrastructure and building projects.

Our projects often relate to infrastructure and buildings, often supporting essential services such as:

Transport and communications, including roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, harbours, inland waterways, airports, and land-based facilities for telecommunications networks.

Production and distribution of energy involving power stations (including nuclear), overhead and underground power lines, dams for hydroelectric power generation, wind and wave power installations, oil and gas pipelines, gas mains, and other on-shore oil and gas facilities.

Public health infrastructure incorporating dams and reservoirs for the storage of water, water purification facilities, water distribution networks and sewage treatment plants.

High-profile civil engineering projects recently completed or currently under construction include - Wembley Stadium, Heathrow Terminal 5, London Underground, Felixstowe Docks, M6 Toll Road, Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Scottish Parliament, M25 widening.

Clients have included the Highways Agency, Scottish Executive Roads Division, Welsh Assembly funded projects, local councils, Network Rail, London Underground, BAA, Associated British Ports, British Waterways, the Environment Agency, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, English and Welsh water and sewerage companies, Scottish Water, and the Ministry of Defence.

We understand the issue and problems created by water ingress with water dripping onto infrastructure equipment accelerating localised deterioration and subsequent deteriation of key assets through corrosion or reinforcement of metal, wiring, pipes and ducts.

We also understand the issues and problems created by concrete damage and concrete decay involving cracking and spalling.
