Three systems are being introduced by TAM UK this autumn and winter.
  1. A pure rubber based hydrophilic strip,
  2. A butyl / bentonite hydrophilic strip
  3. A polyurethane hydrophilic sealant applied through a gun.

Our Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia branches have successfully sold thousands of linear meters in the past few months to a number of prestigious projects and based on their proven success, we will shortly make these systems available to the civil and general building industry in the UK.

These hydrophilic systems can be applied easily to a variety of areas including construction joints, pre-cast joints to applications around pipes, box outs and manholes.

Summer news 2007

TAM products return to Milford Haven
For the second year running, TAM has supplied ground resins and technical assistance to the Milford Haven Dry Dock in West Wales.  Working alongside Quantum GP the Main Contractor, TamPur 110 low viscosity polyurethane injection resin was successfully introduced to stabilize and consolidate fill beneath the dry dock slab.  Using a single piston electrically operated pump connected to a manchette tube, TamPur 110 was gradually introduced successfully under low pressure.

The injection of the resin was conducted in a bottom up fashion with the side walls of the bore hole supported through a plastic tube that was raised in line with the injection process.  The Consultant on the project was WS Atkins Global of Cardiff.

For more information on Quantum please visit their website at http://www.quantum-gb.co.uk/default/  For further information on the project, please contact Mark Hodgson of TAM on 07977552468.

The project starts at the end of March 2007 and will continue for 7 days with additional work scheduled for later in the year.  The Consultant on the project is Jacobs at Dartford.
